Chad Howard was born in Aurora, Co, in 1987 and was raised in Durango, Colorado. He had a natural love and understanding of music from a young age.
Originally wanting to be a bass player, he was told that he was too incredibly handsome and smart to play bass, and that he needed to be hidden behind a drumset to give the other musicians a chance. So at the young age of 14 he was introduced to the world of percussion.
With unwavering love and unbreakable determination for his craft, Chad dedicated himself to drumming for the next 20 years. He has been in numerous bands from just about every genre ranging from Blues & Ska to even Metal. In 2007, he was recruited to be the new drummer for Colorados very own Ska/Punk band "Oatie Paste" and has been a member ever since. With a need to play more complicated music, in 2008 he started a second band under the name of "Thorn Of Gethsemane'' who would eventually be signed to Mysteria Records, a subsidiary of Universal Studios.
Over his 20 year span as a musician, Chad has opened for dozens of professional acts of all genres such as:
The Toasters, Mephiskapheles, Hepcat, The Voodoo Glowskulls, Guttermouth, Motograter, Mobile Deathcamp, Darkest Hour, Gemini Syndrome, Krash Karma & The Bastard Suns, just to name a few.
In 2012 Chad & his wife welcomed his first child into the world. His son was born with Autism and DMDD. This opened his eyes to the world of mental health awareness and the struggles that come with it. Using his voice and platform the only way he knows how, Chad promotes mental health awareness support with his music along with a strong emphasis on believing in yourself and helping others.
"The world only shines as bright as you let it, and no matter what, there is always sunshine, even after the worst of storms."
-Chad Howard
Jon Clemons is an American punk/metal guitarist that resides in Denver Colorado. Clemons is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist of Fragile City. A former member of Denver based thrash metal band PIT SIX, Clemons would refine his shredding, fast paced style to a more melodic, matured, and conditioned brand of guitar skill. Clemons gets his signature sound using a combination of Blackstar amps with a Jackson Randy Rhoads V guitar. Clemons would join the punk/metal trio Fragile City in October of 2021, bringing with him musical influences that range from Hellbound Glory to Dimmu Borgir. “I believe you can have your cake and eat it too in the music world. Dark and sinister tones over pop punk melodies? Why not?” –Jon Clemons.
Mental health can be a struggle for all of us. Every day we feel the pressures from society telling us who we should be or how we should act. Some of us cant help it and we struggle to fit into what they say is normal. Fuck normal, be yourself and realize that you are not alone in this journey.
We are all hitchhiking aliens in this giant ever expanding universe. - Fragile City
